Bailey: Apparently the overhaning tree has moved...

The tree that was in the river a little above deer creek has dislodged, apparenlty, and is now about a hundred yards downstream on river right.

Not an obvious hazard, but just keep an eye out and run far left. Took me by suprise, and must have happened between tuesday and today...

BTW, when I was leaving I witnssed a pretty bad motorcycle accident, on the road leading out of the take out/park... If anyone has any beta on the ladies condition I'd be curious... looked like a spinal injury at the least. Hope she does OK.

The story behind what happened to the tree is pretty good. I wasn't there so I will leave it to one of the first hand witnesses, I will say it involved moonshine, a bunch of discarded paddles, a Saturn raft, a Yeti Cooler, and a whole lot of lube.

Glad the tree is moved and my wife was one of the first to arrive on the scene of the women who exited the road on the motorcyle. She reported it to the Rangers who radioed it in. Later the Ranger told her at PVR the women was life flighted and she was in pretty serious condition but no further details.
