Royal Gorge Nov 21st

I am trying to get a trip together to run the Gorge on next Saturday. If reports are correct, we should be seeing over 800 CFS. Long range weather forecast is up in the air. Anyone interested?

I'm a definite maybe. Weather of course would be a factor. The major one is I've been "enjoying" the wonders of Shingles this last week. I think I set a new PR for pain. I'm better today and hoping I'll be able to get back on the rio next week. Let me know if your plans gel.

Can't run on Saturday, but if the weather changes the plan to sunday....post it, I might be down. I'm super psyched about the higher release through the winter....barring ice damns, I'd be up for running when the weather is decent (above 30).

Sounds good. I want to run it quite a bit this winter too. Not sure if my gear is down for 30 degree days, but might acquire a pair of dry pants to make that close.

If you have a decent dry top and don't swim like you did at skull you should be fine

Come on man, I went for the meat, not once, not twice, but three times on Skull, I was tired. The line you took on the rubber barge made me think you were a vegetarian. I think I saw a more carnivorous line by the SUP boys.

As soon as the water gets warm enough for you, I await my education.

Haha, harsh man harsh. I give you props for sure, and I was aiming for the meat, but underestimated the leftward push for sure. I would have loved to run it again, but that would have been way too much work. Next year though we'll hit it harder, and in my own raft

Depending on when you plan on putting in I would be in. Coming from denver so an early put in is needed. I can also carpool any denver folks down.
