Grand in 4 Days?

There's a July 25th small group launch opening and only one person has applied for the lottery. You must apply by noon tomorrow. Anyone out there willing to just drop everything and go? Basically shop for food and drive down?

Call me if you'd be interested. ASAP.

I'd probably be looking at a standard length trip if I did it (10-20 days).

It is opportunities like this that make me wish I was either retired or unemployed or very irresponsible.

Oh well, have big fun!

I had a dream last night that I was going on my second trip for the year. Well, if you know the regs, you know this isn't "possible".

I was joking recently with someone that I could change my name back to my maiden name, get a passport, and then change my name back to my married name. I'd have two id's with two names, and pull off two trips a year!

Although I don't remember, I bet the registration asks for DOB or SSN, or someone as I'm sure many others have tried to do such shenanigans. Plus, I can't even go every year, let alone twice! Darn work gets in the way. But it's fun to fantasize.

Have fun, and hope you find some fun folks to go with. Since Rich didn't mention it, check on the GCPBA yahoo group, or RRFW yahoo group and you might find some folks ready to go.

Irresponsible? Most people consider the Grand Canyon to be the trip of a lifetime. Therefore, if you are given the opportunity to go, it would be the only responsible thing to do. Work will be there everyday for the rest of your life.

Tick-tock, tick-tock.

Only one hour left. I'd do it if I had one taker. Rafters are awesome but we could always self-support if we had to.
