Just throwing this one out there early if anyone's interested... My friend Pete (from the UK) and I (from Portland) will be heading down there to creek in mid-december. Just posting to see if anyone else was going to be heading down there. Also, is it better to rent or buy a car down there? I hear getting into Argentina without the right paperwork for your car can be a pain in the ass... Anyway if you're going to be down there and wanna run some goods or want to make our group of 2 into 3 or 4 hit me back!
Boating in Chile January 2009 -looking for partners-have car
Hey,
I bought a Subaru last winter (summer) in Chile, and will be heading back this year, after Christmas, for a month of paddling in Chile. I'm looking for some fun companions who like to paddle to make a great trip of it. I'll be down there around the first of January...and heading north to south, ending up on the Futa/Rio Baker by mid-end of January. The car is in Talca, about 3 hours south of Santiago.
I'm not online too much, so give me a shout if interested. Conan 970 349-0439 (Crested Butte, CO)
