Bailey gauge off, + wood update

A crew in bailey yesterday. We agreed the flows were bigger than 305 cfs. Maybe 375 or 400. Coming from someone who had probably 15 runs last year, I know it is different.

As said in other posts, small piece of wood in the notch below Foley 4 Falls. A lot more wood in eddy below 1st falls as well (no problems on either).

Another log submerged under water between trash can and deer creek. Might be problem for ELF boaters.

Otherwise all good to go. Did not see hazard on right side of mystery eddy, but didn't look to hard.

Be safe out there.

I'd guess that there is more natural flow coming in below the bailey gauge which made it feel like 75+ Cfs higher. We typically run bailey when natural flow is low and side creeks don't add much. This year they are!

Yep, exactly. Back when there was a gauge at Pine in service you'd frequently see 100-200 cfs more during runoff on the downstream gauge.

No I think the Bailey gauge is off. Grant has been reading higher for the last couple weeks and Bailey should be showing more than it is.
