Yampa Campsites

Got a Yampa permit for May. I'm looking for good campsites for a large group and we've never stayed at Ponderosa or Big Joe. Can anyone tell me about them?

If you can I would stay at Tepee campsite or Big Joe for big group, Ponderosa is small, steep and over populated with sage from what I can remember.
