Wood at M Wave

Went up to the wave yesterday, and it's choked with wood something wicked, not even worth the drive if I lived in Wyoming (which is where it is located, Cody, Wyoming). But seriously, if you have a picture of the surrounding area, BURN IT. Please try to respect those trying so hard to keep the eddy lines short. Peace.

The one good thing about the m-wave - it shows what pathetic insecure territorial posers playboaters are. I have never had any interest in going there and even I know where it is. Yawn

I'm getting confused with all this garbage flying around.

Tell me again, why are we trying to keep this spot secret? A zillion people know about it. Is the access over private property? Or are we just trying to keep it to ourselves?

I wonder if we should start treating this non-secret a little differently.

Just like Hell Hole on the Ocoee - not there any more after the spring rains. Also, the Royal Canadian Navy used depth charges to blow up the ledge that creates Skook. Too many ships damaged from the wave was hurting the insurance industry. The City of Golden also announced that the Golden WW Park will require a pass next year - $12/day or $300 for the annual pass.

The skook inlet goes nowhere. No ship traffic there, besides kayaks.

I like the $300 pass for Golden. I assume they are installing 500 cfs pumps also?
