Whitewater Irony

Now, I know a lot of you guys like to pick on Texans, the lack of real whitewater in Tejas, etc. etc.

But get this....

After running under very tough race conditions in Wausau, WI. Four of the the US Whitewater Slalom Team for 2010, are Texans.
  • C1W Caroline Peterson
  • K1W Michelle Kvanli
  • C2 Ben Kvanli & Mark Poindexter
They will be representing the USA at the World Championships in Tacen, Slovenia.

If you ever get bored during the winter months and have a serious jonesing for paddling, please come on down to San Marcos and visit the Outdoor Olympic Center in San Marcos, TX. They have worldclass coaching, warm water, trips to Mexico and Central America.

When I lived in Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Beaumont and Houston you couldn't go 2 blocks without seeing a Church's fried chicken or a Popeyes fried chicken...or if you were driving through a nice area a Kentucky fried chicken! Plus EVERY block somebody was having a BBQ! Texas is awsome just needs some whitewater!

Fuck. I hate Texas even more now.

Another reason why Texas is gayer than a bag of multi-colored butt plugs.......they laugh at that video.

"Durrr,durrr hick-accent,durrrrrr!"
Far from brilliant.....

Awwwwwwwwww come on now, Matty and Gapers. Admit it, you like those Texan girls with big hair, big booties, and big silicone boobs.

Seriously though, there is a reason why those two are Jarheads. Can you imagine them in white collar workforce?
