What's running in Idaho?

Road trippin to WA this Monday wondering where to spend the day on the river in Idaho and.or Washington. We are bringing playboats, looking for park/play or a stretch of IV. It looks like the SF of Payette is dry, is that so? I posted on KayakIdaho as well, but it seems like the buzzards are more cracked out than our friends up north, can't get enough of it!!! yeehaw

I just got back from ID guiding for the summer. They cut off the SF Payette on labor day so that is done. I think the NF Payette is still running but I wouldnt recommend it for a park/play. You might check to see if the Murtaugh is still running on the Bureau of Reclamation page. If its running you can paddle up the lake to the Idaho Connection wave, or just run the whole stretch.

They shut off the Murtaugh the Friday night of labor day weekend. how do i know, went to bed next to the river and woke up with nothing.
Check out the Bliss wave just shy of Boise(bliss,ID). Small hike in but I think its always good. hit eddyflower for specific directions to get there;park and play by definition. There is also a small section of the milad(malad) in the same area that should be running about now. Some decent vert, but short enough to do with one vehichle. Other option is the white salmon(hood river). Longer drive, but easy shuttle and easy park and play at rattlesnake if it is in.

Come on ShortStuff! You know you wanna blow off the wedding and run down south and catch some Hurricane Ike action! I'm sure Jamie will understand.

At least seal launch one of the bridges INSIDE the Venetian. You can flip one of those dumbasses in the silly hats pushing the gondolas. And maybe hit up Treasure Island too, although I think they have cannons and pirates, so I'd watch yourself in there.

Hope the crew's havin' fun and gettin' in trouble. And remember, Wesley Snipes says always bet on black!
I was going to be vague but then I decided to do this other thing.
