You forgot to mention that you will be in a pink ducky and that your boof is sooo gay!

The attached picture was stolen from a previous post but reminded me of you and your gay boof!

Burnt Ranch Gorge is about it in Northern Cali at that time. Not super nar, but still fun. Sometimes you can catch a release on the feathers or Pitt. I'm living about twenty minutes from BRG if you are looking for boaters. Dreamflows has pretty good beta as far as what's running and links to blogs.

You will want to go to Cherry Creek (not Upper Cherry Creek, but the traditional run). It is 45 minutes outside of Yosemite, and runs through August 6 to 7 days a week. Usually not too hard to find people to go with. It's about the same difficulty as Burnt Ranch, with a few rapids that are definitely bigger.

Yeah, didn't read the part about yosemite. Much more fun to be had in that zone than the far northern Cali this time of year.

Fordyce Creek should have a release in August. Cherry Creek is a must - actually not that easy to hook up with folks, but go to Casa Loma in the morning for your best shot at finding someone. A little farther South is the Garlic Falls section of the Kings; it can be done somewhat low (down to 500 cfs or so).
