The forecast is for around 7k on Friday... http://www.cbrfc.noaa.gov/river/station/flowplot/flowplot.cgi?CCUC2
At 6700 in September, I got flipped just sitting in an eddy. We have pictures of everybody hanging out bracing it what looks like flatwater because of the boily water. I'd recommend a good roll or lots of rafts downsteam to pick up the pieces as it can be a long swim. Also, learned what an 'elevator move' is in Surprise. I also did it at 5500 and 4100 and it was a lot easier at those levels... then again, I didn't have quite as bad of a hangover on the later trips
I'll be there on Sat/Sun!
