It looks a lot like the EZG except there's a middle size. What's changed from the EZG other than the rigging?

It does look alot like an EZG they added more deck volume to shed water and beefed up the cockpit rim.

Beefing up the cockpit rim sounds like a good idea - my EZG rim is broken in a few places and I rely on "Shoe Goo" to stop up the holes. I also have a 60 which is really too big so the mid 50-ish size is real appealing. Other than the cockpit and the size I like the EZG so maybe this will be a good boat for me. The price looks like it will be under a grand - still high but not over that magic mark yet ...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't this boat has been out for more than a year:

Paddling Life magazine -- for Paddling, Sea Kayaking, Whitewater Rafting, Kayaking, Canoeing, Kayak Fishing, Outrigger Canoe, Rec Boats and Touring, plus boating Blogs, Photos and News Clearinghouse.

Maybe all four sizes are new?

Todd B. makes the boat look sick though......

It's been out for a little while, but still a killer boat. Great choice for bringing on a plane somewhere warm this winter. Check out another review.
