I hear something that might make the move to Firefox worth the hassle. Care to tell us all a little more, Dana?

oh sorry its called adblock plus

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

you right click on an ad and then block it. you can use astericks to block entire ad servers. it speeds up the web considerably.

I've never had any popups on the Buzz on either Firefox or on IE. I postponed the move to Firefox for a long time. I couldn't believe that it would really be that different. It was 100% worth it. Less popups, faster loads, less misloaded pages, more security, and much more. Do it.

Those ads were setup wrong. The intent was so show them to visitors but not members. I set them up wrong and Brendodendo was kind enough to point out the error. I got the system setup properly and you should not see any of these ads when you are logged in.

Even if we have lurkers that don't want to join and don't want to see the ads, they can opt out by clicking on the help section of the ads and saying that they do not want to see them. So it's totally easy (and free) for guests to get rid of the ad is they desire.

You on crack? What help section of the ad to turn them off? Its a 200 pixel wide ad, there ain't no help section.
Oh well, its a good lesson for anybody out there in internet-marketing land. If anybody wants you to implement Vibrant ads RUN FAST THE OTHER WAY. Because--
1) They really annoy your user base.
2) Green ads on blue backgrounds make the words illegible
3) Like who wants to buy Avery labels when they are looking for kayak porn. I am sure they are really effective for the advertisers. NOT!
