Vail WWP Bladders

Please make sticky--

Buzzards, give a shout out to Gregg Barrie and the Town of Vail for standing by the WWP through the drought years!

Vail has installed inflatable bladders that accelerate and tweak the wave to make low water look like the fluffy muffins you all have come to expect. These work on the touch of a button; however, we are looking to automate the inflation in coming years. We can use the buzzards help in determining what the good tweaks are for different flow levels. Vail (Gregg) will be inflating the bladders every morning around 9am and deflating them near dark, daily. Monday, 5/26 2pm we will be taking special orders and setting up a log sheet for boaters to make comments.

Post comments here or at the WWP. As always, thank the Town for their investment in the paddling community by being grateful and respectful.

Do they move in and out and up and down, or just change pressure?

They deflate 'em overnight? It seems like they would flap around be really hard on the material while deflated.

They are more like BF Goodwrench T/As than a water balloon. They dont move left or right , but they do up and down, without flapping.
