US Natl WhiteWater Center

Scott thanks for the images. I have a question for you. I heard a rumor of the OC Natl's being held on a different section of the center. Could you possibly post some images of that section?

Thanks

Justin

All the big water shots, and the one somebody called the mini m-wave are in the slalom channel. The others, including the big freakin' hole, are on the rec channel. The big hole is the "big m-wave" but will not get its V-shape until the scobstacles are installed. This section is expected to feature an approximately 6-8 foot green wave. More later.

The water should be on for guests in early Aug. At this point the issue is not so much dialing the whitewater, but ramping up the operations/buildings and getting final inspections on things like electricity. Should have the bugs ironed out soon.

Some stats:

About a mile of whitewater channel
21 ft of drop on four different channel segments
A seven foot high standing green wave
a seven foot drop
an Olympic class slalom course
Over 15 specific play spots
An instructional channel and an intermediate channel

Big whitewater
