Uranium Hotspots Along the Lower Dolores

Here's an interesting map of past, present and possible future Uranium activity along the lower Dolores. The proposed Pinon Ridge uranium mill, if approved, could process up to 500 tons of material a day. If built, it would be the first conventional uranium mill built in the U.S. in more than a quarter century....something for us to contemplate as we float this amazing river corridor this next week.
