Upper Frying Pan Beta

Can someone tell me at what level this starts to be funnable?

Anyone cleaned it out lately?

What are the bigger rapids like?

From my recollections it isn't fun until it gets over ~500 cfs... and even then it is still pretty low. At 800 cfs it was a blast. The general character is boat scoutable boulder gardens of various steepness and w/ multiple channels. A few years ago there was a definite wood portage towards the end of the run after you crossed under the road. Not sure how clean it is now. At peak run-off there is a steep sweet and short section on "one" of the tributaries. I'd wait a little bit fo sure.

I ran it at 250 in the play boat. Wouldn't do it again without at least 500.
