upper elk?

photos of high water runs? i assume 4500 is crankin thru there...

4500 at Milner would probably equate to 2000-2500 in the Upper Elk. Milner is about 25 river miles downstream, below Willow, Mad, Big, etc. creeks. The road to the putin is covered in snow right now.

A fun 2nd descent would be the North Fork Elk into the Upper Elk (6miles?). You can drive to the put in when the snow is gone.
