Upper east access (Crested Butte)?

Now that I know OBJ is buried, anyone know if the road is drivable to get to upper east?

Just went to check on Gothic rd this am - it typically opens before Slate river rd and is the access to the upper east. The gate is closed and backed by a 3 foot deep snowbank. It's probably going to be a little while still. Flow-wise, the creeks are up. I will check on slate river road soon and post an update.-Meng
There ya go.

Drove out to Gothic yesterday. Road open and dry. Scouted the creek. No wood but that could have changed like 10 times by now. CB Creeks are open for paddling - not sure about Daisy and you'll have to hike OBJ from the campground but you can drive there at this point. Water is high. I have only been on the Slate so far. A CB crew did a bunch of wood removal in the forest section last week, at which time it was g2g. Wood will likely be moving alot in the next few weeks so heads up.
