Upper C at 269 cfs?!?!?!

Crazy Low!
I would like to get out this week, but not sure about it at these levels. I was out about a week and a half ago with our school's old heavy bucket boats w/ about 8 people in them (around 330 cfs). In a few places we dragged pretty badly in spots.

I have a 14' that I will be rowing, trying to keep the load light, 2 or 3 passengers. Just Pumphouse to Radium. Am I setting my self for a miserable day of getting out and walking through stuff or will I be ok?

Just looking to get out there, drink some beverages, get some sun and enjoy the day.

THANKS!!!

I will be doing the same this Saturday June 16 in my 14' Hyside. Will have a total of 5 oaring - me guiding and 4 others. Am wondering the same. Is it even doable at less than 300? Was planning to go all the way to State Bridge if possible

I do know that going all the way to State Bridge will be a REALLY REALLY long day at these levels.

We decided 'YES', knowing we will probably spend sometime pulling off sandbars.

I'll let you know how it goes.

We may just do 2 runs to Radium each time or just go to Rancho - I think we are just going to do it and suffer through whatever it is - see you on the river!

5 Oaring, huh? Instead of having two people rowing, using 4 oars, you might be better off having 4 people paddling, each one using a paddle. That would free you up to either paddle [U]or [U]row with both oars, as you see fit.

I'm headed up Wed, two boats, two people, both rowing. SYOTR!
