Train Derailment in Wind River Canyon WY

Although its closed off to boating, thought you might be interested in this. Although this is above the open section with really good fishing. Looks similar to the tar trucks on the poudre. Diesel fuel leaking into the river and a leaking payload of bentonite...

any new waves created from said derailment.. cant really do anything about the wreck now besides make the best of it....

and about wrecks, no shit was side swiped by a drunk driver in a uhaul van 2 nights ago while going back to work from lunch at 2am.. took out the mirror and back hatch upper panel and window.. "holly shit"

Thanks for posting. As for contamination, the diesel's what you have to worry about. The bentonite is a clay mineral that should only result in some increased turbidity and a slick, sloppy mess if any is on the banks and got wet. Bentonite is the clay that swells when it gets wet and creates the heaving soil problems that ruin foundations, its also used as the base for well drilling muds.
