Tragedy in Vallecito?!

So the Durango Herald just called me and said a kayaker from Boulder was 'overcome' by the rapids in Vallecito today and is missing and I suppose presumed dead. I told him I am no expert on the run and he should talk to someone else - does anyone know anything?

The flow is pretty freakin high as far as I can tell.

hoping for the best...

Dana, read the post above.
I talked to the reporter after you told him to talk to me. He may have more information in the durango herald tomorrow, but this is all I want to say about the day. Please be safe everybody, Johnny
