Tom Bryant Passes

Tom helped introduce me to the river. He was a great outdoorsman and he will be missed.

If you don't recognize the name check out the last descent of Waterton canyon story in WWSR.

He was running Numbers in the late 70s and early 80s in a fiberglass kayak, solo because no one would go with him.

"I run the meat, I always run the meat. Because why the hell else am I here." - Tom Bryant

I was so sad to hear of Toms passing. Tom helped turn a lot of Laramie kids into serious outdoorsmen. He was a coleader of one the most badass boyscout troops ever. He took these kids up Devils Tower, crawling into the depths of the earth, and on many river trips. He used his own gear he had collected through the years for that very purpose. May he rest in peace.
