Thinking about buying this for art in my house.

Any one know if this is a good price or not. It is in great shape, and would love to have a spot in my place dedicated to old whitewater gear. Canoes, Kayaks, Row-Boats Classifieds for Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming | ksl.com

Def hang that on your dinning room wall bro......... Not. Looks like junk to me. Old whitewater gear is cool if its in a bar or has some sort of personal meaning... Otherwise you're just using a fancy word for hoarding!

I'd take the kayak and use it possibly... I wouldn't call it art in any generation

At Kellys WWP in Cascade they have this super sick fiberglass boat on the wall. It sure looks like art to me. But I like old shit. Any way why I was going to hang it will not work so I decided to put that money towards something else.

Wow, kayak disrespect for the tools of the sport? That's lame. Not that i want that stuff, but old school gear is great, even if it is just to be reminded of where it all came from and what people uses to have to deal with. Those guys were hardcore pushing the limits with serious gear constraints.

i am just going to say, that old gear can be used for lots of decorative ideas.

for instance that boat would make an awesome lamp or it could be hung over a pool table as a pool table light.

We are starting up a company that does just that.

FSM, you and i are a lot alike, i would like to meet you some day.

well, art is subjective. I see people spend that much on beer in a week on the mfs. In all my travels I have never seen that brand and I lived in Sun Valley for two winters! And that was made around the same time I was there?? 90-91??

I am not so much into vintage but its better than a dead elk head IMHO.

Cool find.
