You gotta be a freakin computer programmer to get around on this site. Its full of crap noone needs, boaters are out boating not playing around with emoticons. We need something simple and easy to use, all this fancy crap has driven people away. Was much better when frenchy was running things!

while i do liek the new page, and I dont think theres much that isnt useful, its just a little too visually intensivee....the old buzz was simple to read and navigate, this is just a little more confusing....but equally as good I would say

and the old boaters are still here...they just dont post but once in a blue moon

yeah anyone can figure it out, but is someone going to take the time to sort thru all the pages to find a forum, which each one is painfully slow, log in just to search the forum, etc, the number of posts suggests that they aren't.

Here's the problems:
-its slow, too many external links loading
-too many forums, most are barely used, better to have a few that are active
-have to log in to search and use a lot of the features
-too busy looking with buttons everywhere, images flashing, etc.

Its too bad cause MB is a really valuable asset to the boating community. All successful forums are simple to navigate and use. The flashiness is just fluff and makes it hard to find the real valuable info which is posts and beta from real boaters in CO...

I'm about as dumb as it gets on a computer and even I can figure it out.It seemed a little over the top at first,I'm not much for bells and whistles either, but it's really pretty good.

... i donno dude, im on a few forums, basicly cuz im way into all my hobbies ( my 350z racin, diffrent music things ) and to be honest this cites put together pretty well and its pretty easy to find your way around, i dont know many forums without the emoticons(or whatever there called)

not to mention there are very few forums, alot of topics in them but that cant be helped, people got shit they wanna talk about..

anyways theres my 2 cents

Huh? Dude, get out your bifocals so you can see the posts that have more than 1,000 views and dozens of replies...and if you think it is slow you might think about ditching your dial-up and get DSL or a cable modem.
