Just curious if you can just show up and register for the amateur rodeo or do I have to go to the qualifier at Cleer Creek? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Mark, I don't know what the plans are for this year, but last year this was the deal.... the amateur rodeo was east team vs west team and the only people on the teams were the top 1 woman and top 2 men to place in the qualifier competitions that were held about a week before Teva fest. But the Pro rodeo at vail was not invitation-only last year. The entry fee was around $40, and if willing to pay it, anyone could compete in friday qualifiers, which cut the fields in half for the semi-finals on saturday.
