Taylor R, Cottonwood Pass?

380 at almont but aww says u need 400 min. I kind of remember it boats lower than that, any recommendations?

Also, what is the status of Cottonwood pass construction? Done? Passible? (barring new snow), cheers

I'm not sure about the flows, but the road is good to go (until the snow flies):

The road is open. And smooth.

Use the Taylor below Taylor dam gauge. Currently ~340. It's mostly low and slow but still fine. Think primarily II+, with maybe 2 or 3 spots that could be considered III if you chose the right (wrong?) lines.

I paddled it Saturday afternoon. After ~3PM you're facing straight into the low-angle sun. Bring sunglasses.

They ramped down to 300 below the dam this afternoon and will drop it to 200 the next couple of days. It still goes at 200 in my mini max or a hard boat and commercials were running 14 footers at 200 last season. CW pass is great!

Wow.
I ran it in Aug at 380ish and was amazed that the commercials were squeaking those 14'ers down at that level. Can't imagine the bump-n-grind at 200.
Speaking of The Bump-n-Grind, is that place still open for breakfast?
