Suggestions for Front Range Visitor

I just arrived in Boulder this afternoon and was hoping to do some paddling Friday--any thoughts on local park and play at present levels? Lyons v. Golden? Any other considerations? If there are any groups planning any class 3, easy/scoutable/walkable class 4 excursions, I'd be [email protected] or 847-858-5666.

Thanks,
MJM

Golden

Go to the Golden WW Park. You can get use to the CO water temp and the altitude before getting in to anything too remote. Plus you can find people all time of day to paddle with. There is good boating just up stream of the park. Have fun and enjoy your trip to the Rockies.
