Whats it gunna be like? Are any of the holes going to be going still? Any III-IV going?
If theres water and something to boat I'll be headed down there instead of the shitty ww rodeo in casper....
It's all over. Last week was it, and everything dropped out really fast. If you come to Steamboat, bring your tube and you can bump down the Yampa with all the bikini-clad out-of-towners. Cross Mountain will maybe still be going, but it's gonna be low and it's two hours west of the Boat.
Not sure how long you've been boating, but Cross at that level is more fun in a playboat. It's not a creek run. I am sure you can meet up with some folks who know the lines. At lower flows it's got a couple few class IVs and some fun play.
D hole is fun down to 400cfs: wheels, blunts, loops, etc.
The rain has been causing some unusual spikes so don't give up yet.
You could also do the Elk, about 40 minutes away, probably want 1000 on the gauge for a minimum scrapy flow.
