State Bridge Fees

What are they charing these days at State Bridge? Does anyone take out there anymore? I want to extend my usual Pumphouse to Rancho trip a bit for an over-nighter with the kids...

Did it last week, $3.50 per person. They did give the kids a free popsicle when we took out! Very nice people. The kids enjoyed the last section before State Bridge.

Its an entire day's float with absolutely flat water the whole way. But you'll save $3.50 each!

Just don't get agro with them about the numbers. They can be choads if challenged. I left a truck there overnight back in April and paid and one of their dudes got in my face.

I think they charge by the car and by the person. I took a bunch of toddlers and little kids rafting. With all the car seats and shuttle and stuff, we ended up with more cars than usual, and it ended up being kind of a rip off. You can do the lower-upper-C near Dotsero for free too.

SimpleMind is right, they might give your kids a popcicle one minute, then fly off the handle the next minute because you didn't pay for your carry-on bags or something.

Not a lot of job opportunities around State Bridge. I say, appreciate the local color, have fun, and BTW his math is as good as mine after 12 beers.

That pic is a crack up and one of the reasons I won't take out there anymore; along with the rest of the reasons listed above. I'd rather drag my balls across broken glass(a buzz allusion) up the opposite bank by the old State Bridge Bar.
