We looked at SSV yesterday. Town visual gauge was 5", which would normally be a decent low level. SSV proper was lower than I have ever seen it, and we didn't run it. I love the mank, but it was too low for me.
I think low elevation rain has the town gauge bumped up a bit... lots of little tiny waterfalls coming into on the canyon below SSV.
Town gauges are coming up, but NSV above buttonrock isn't going up much, so I don't think snowmelt is on the way up too fast (if at all, most of the front range is in a holding pattern).
Talked to a water guy who said that they are bypassing inflow at buttonrock, so the upper gauge should be whats coming out of the reservoir if you are trying to figure out what is in NSV below buttonrock.
If anyone goes up to the actual run today, post some info. Probably won't take much more water to get SSV out of the ultra mank, into the fun mank.
Also, the water folks said that they are working on getting the SSV @ ward, MSV, and Left hand diversion gauges working. They have to turn them on manually and big snowpack has slowed the guys down.
