snow pack info needed !

was thrilled about the snow yesterday, everybodys sayin were at 80%. where do you get snow pack numbers ?? lookin forward to this season, wanna keep track.

Lots of sources, most use USGS or NOAA, use the search for more info but for some good links look here:

I look at snotel which seems pretty representative of what i've seen snowboarding this year. Definitely no where near 80 %. Try 50 % statewide and a little above 50 % on the front range.

As of april 1st the state is at 52 percent. And little to no hope of getting any better.

I stumbled across the chart today and it is very telling. A lot of record or near low SNOTEL measurements.

The basin outlook report should be posted today or friday. Go to www.wcc.nrcs.usda.gov/cgbin/bor.pl and pick your state.
