Sleeping Beauty?

What level does Sleeping Beauty, on the Rio Grande, come in? Is there a sweet spot level wise or is it good through a big range? I searched the Buzz and could only find reference to it being "in" at 450. The gauge is at 1130 and climbing with temps in the mid 70's predicted for this coming weekend... Favorite camping in the area?

It changes as the level rises from a sweet fluffy wave/hole into a huge glassy wave when it gets up around 2000cfs. There is a bunch of camping above the Racecourse along the river up to Taos Junction Bridge. As for my favorite, turn right just before going over the silver bridge heading upriver, there are some nice smaller primitive sites up in that area.

Not a problem Phil, you going to hook up with Atom and run the Box while down there?

Don't know yet. Trip could include kids and grandkids. It will include Sunday night at Ojo Caliente with my wife. Psyched.

Not big water, but it's boating. If I didn't have Westwater this weekend I'd pack the wife and go.
