Should I get a new kayak?

I've had my Dagger Redline for about 2 months now, I have a roll down on both side and braces that get the job done. I have been going down pretty calm water with it, up until yesterday when I hit some class III water.

I have a lot of interest in river running, not so much playing.

Should I get a boat that has softer edges, the tail of my boat is like a knife.

That Redline has soft chines/edges but something with a bit of an edge is nicer for control and still run rivers. Maybe the Wavesport Diesel would work for you. It's a tank but runs nice and has more control so you can get to where you want quicker. Lots of other bigger boats out there so go demo some.
