Sen. Bennet in FC
Buzzards: Senator Michael Bennet will be in FC tonight, and let's bend his ear about the proposed Glade Reservoir. Save the Poudre email below...
Hello Poudre River Lovers!
Do you want to ask your U.S. Senator to help us Save The Poudre River? Want to "bare" your thoughts? Well now you can!
On Monday, April 6th from 6:00 - 8:00pm, U.S. Senator Michael Bennet will be at New Belgium Brewery for a event that he is calling "New Ideas at New Belgium." And do we have a new idea for Senator Bennet:
PLEASE HELP US SAVE THE POUDRE RIVER!
Please bring your yard sign, wear a Save The Poudre t-shirt, and join us all in asking Senator Bennet to "Save The Poudre!"
You may have read in the Fort Morgan Times recently that the Northern Colorado Water District is lobbying Senator Bennet to help them get Glade Reservoir built. They have a very high-priced p.r. machine and lobbyists, and they've been going to Washington D.C. to bend Senator Bennet's ear.
Well, let's all bend the Senator's ear here in Fort Collins just 50 yards away from the Poudre River!
Where: New Belgium Brewery
When: Monday, April 6th, 6:00-8:00pm
Why: BECAUSE WE LOVE THE POUDRE!
See you all there!
