Seriously, you are going Monster Truckin'.
There's a crew of guys who own monster trucks that shuttle folks up and over Nez Perce Pass before the snow clears. I've been later, so I don't have personal knowledge of the guys who offer this service, but I think Pagel knows- but he's on the Grand for the next 3 weeks. Anyone else have contact info?
Maybe call the Forest Service and see if they have a name or number. I've also heard of a snowcat, but I think that may have been for early season Middle Fork.
Have a great trip- the Selway is one of the most beautiful runs in the country....
