Seeking comments re Reno WW school & park

1) May be going there this winter and wondering if anyone can recommend a good WW instructor for us Cl. I - II old guys. I've read the ads. Wonder if anyone has actual experience with someone out there. Didn't see anything with a search. (Will also try "boof.com")

2) Re the Reno park, in wintertime might it have acceptable water for rank noobs to practice eddy work, ferries, maybe some simple front surfing? Does it get real crowded after work or on weekends?

TIA

Kent McCrackin, took my first swift water rescue class with him years ago, good guy. He also runs a ww school. The park should be runnable, especially for beginners.
