A little run up north called Big South. AKA best run in the State (in my humble opinion). We paddled last year with a huge crew including Shipley, Clay and Hobie, among others. Shipley blew everyone away with his no elbow pads, 206 slalom paddle, I need half as many strokes as you, creeker style. Everyone would still be talking about lines when Clay and Shipley were whistling Dixie in the eddies below the drops. Fun. Can't wait to get back this year. Last season I ended a four season hiatus from anything harder than the bv whitewater park. Now I own a creek boat and some booties again so lets go paddle the Crystal.

Yeah, creeking with slalom guys has a way of making you re-examine your "expert" skills. Hoping to hit up BSFP this year too.

Yeah, I have a creek boat on the way as well. Always had booties. A bit of a tenderfoot myself.
