SE guide book?

My brother is a Class III-IV paddler moving from Denver to Knoxville, TN this winter and I want to get him a guidebook for rivers in the TN/NC/VA region. Any ideas? I found some that focus more on class I-II canoeing and then others that focus on IV-V gnar boating. What's the best all round guide for the region?

North Carolina Rivers & Creeks by Leland Davis is a good place to start...

I haven't read it, and can't vouch for how good it is, but this new guidebook sure looks sweet:

Sample Pages:
ISSUU - WWSA vol 1 lookout mountain by Dave Pegg

ISSUU - WWSA-Volume-2-sample-High-Country by Dave Pegg

Thanks for the recommendations.

North Carolina Rivers and Creeks is out of print! Amazon hilariously has it as out of stock sheet music.

Brian, these books look sweet but those runs are probably above my brother's pay grade.....

Southwestern whitewater seems like a good fit, I'll check it out!
