You'd sure think that people wouldn't fall for this stuff, but in my world, (Consumer Protection Officer), constant consumer education is the only defense. If I can stop one person from being scammed, I've had a good day.
I thought most of the world new about phishing scams too, but read yesterday that 70% (
) of those that receive a fraudulent e-mail requesting personal information actually respond. That blew me away. So any chance I personally get to spread the word, I do so, regardless of who I .think
might know it all already. And that's why I thank the original poster...he's obviously concernerd for people's welfare as well!
