San Rafael Black Boxes at min flows right now 3/16/10

Don't know if this is gauge failure or what but...


was at 400cfs yest. 450 today. Tomorrow?

Any Utah folk reading this? What is the deal? Is there a decent snowpack on this side? Is this low elevation melt? Visuals???

Emery water is not releasing and inflows to the reservoirs are low right now so the reading is suspect!

I've never boated before, but I have posted a lot on Mountain Buzz!

Probably low elevation melt. Would explain the major daily fluctuation.

That gauge is far below the boxes. Like you noted, it is probably due to low elevation melt.

Check out this link for the headwater info, especially "Joe's Valley" discharge...
