San Miguel this weekend?

I'm new to the Telluride area and looking to meet some other boaters. I'd like to take my raft out on the San Miguel this weekend (Sat, Sun or both) and need some paddlers to join. Contact me if interested.

Welcome to the western slope Andrew. We have a good group of paddlers in the Montrose area that paddle mostly class III runs in our area and knows the runs very well. We were planning a Miquel or Lower Anthracite Creek run for Sunday, but the really high flows have changed our plans. Would highly recommend that you go with or behind someone who has done run at high water. Sawpit run is one you don't want swim at high water. Please check run out at this level, to many deaths on our rivers this year already, be safe! Will contact you when we have group runs. The Miquel is much better and safer in the 700 to 900 cfs range. The Taylor will be have a really long season this year. My contact Gunther at 970-497-6512
