Placerville down is now clear. While scouting I saw the BLM rangers. They just took down the hazard signs. Still a bunch of wood in the main channel above Speice, but the right side goes. It's coming back to life!

The real bad strainer in that stretch wasn't the one that you could see from the road above the Specie bridge, it was one that was deep in there, above Caddis. The one that you could see from the road did look bad but, you could sneak it right or slide through/over the branches in the center. Commercials were running it all last season, putting in at Caddis.
