pardon me, but I'm dense...and thanks for the info, Ryan. good shit.
so releases out of Navajo will stay at 500 until May 22ish? currently 970 at Bluff (USGS Real-Time Water Data for USGS 09379500 SAN JUAN RIVER NEAR BLUFF, UT) so the recent rise is due to....rain? wondering what to expect May 7th...

the animas river joins the san juan below farmington, nm. it is on its way up now

june 10 san juan launch

lots of planning to go down the san juan. is there any point in going with the low water? a june 10 launch seems like a bad idea. thanks

ryan or others would know more than I about what is being pulled for irrigation, but the Animas is on it's way up, 1400cfs is coming in to the 'juan a couple hundred miles from Bluff.

I'd go.

The Animas is up and going higher. And anyway, the San Juan is still fun at low water, just a bit more work.
