Salt River Snow Pack Still 260 %

We launch 4/9. I guess we should have some good water. I don't think it has gotten too hot yet, so how high might the river get? Could it get pretty high just from snow melt? I looked at the USGS for peak flows, but it appears most of them are from flash floods...I was wondering if anyone had an idea with the snow pack being high still, what the peak flow might be from the snow melt?

SALT - CHRYSOTILE, NR (SLCA3)

We're launching on 4/11. I don't know what to expect either but here is a link that shows current flow with a forecast of future flows.

It seems odd that with the snow pack being so high that the forecasted flows will be droping. May be with this snow pack this all you get.

Nice. I just looked back to March9 at my put in date when it jumped to 7,000. Stoked to have had that level. Not that I needed a hydrograph to tell me it was big or anything..

sorry... i'll post a disclaimer next time.

It seems like it's been staying unusually cold down there for this time of year. Once the Hannagan Meadows area stops freezing at night, it should start climbing pretty quick.

I've got an April 8 launch (thanks EZ!) and hoping for a warm spell, but at the rate it's going, it could run all the way through mid May

We have a 3/28 launch and hoping for some more warm weather melt off. It's running 2,330 today, up from 2,050 yesterday....

Storm - you know I was totally joking, right? I mean, I actually did try it but just thought it was funny.
