Salt is in!

It is currently at 6500 cfs and is forcasted to be above 2000 for the weekend. The Salt hit 19,000 twice in the past couple of days. The little Colorado is also in.

PS-I also did a little TR for the Pine if anyone is interested in class III with no access.

Salt Forecast

It has dropped to 1230 cfs but it is supposed to rain and the river is forecasted to jump to ~5400 cfs. http://www.cbrfc.noaa.gov/river/stat...plot.cgi?SLCA3
Above 4000 the surf at the ledges is incredible. 10,000 cfs was a personal cut for me for the weekend but I would recomend it at this flow to anybody.

Keep an eye on it tonight. The precipitation is spotty at best, but if any portion of the basin get a good hit, then tomorrow and sunday should have some decent flows. The RFC is staffed 24/7 tonight so give a call if you like before making plans -- 801-524-5130. Just keep in mind that the flow magnitude is pretty uncertain until the rail fall is actually entered into the model.
