Salt hit 30,000 cfs

It is down to 14k already, but it was up around 30k with all the rain they had. Anyone know how high it can be run? The projections show it levelling out around 2 k for a while. What is the scoop on pre-season trips?

I wonder what kinds of changes 30 k may have caused? Sure be nice to have some of the upper channels reworked. I guess the pressent boulder choked channels are from a relatively recent (80's or '90's) flood that was over 100K.

I doubt that 30k changed much. When I was living in the AZ it peaked over 80k two years in a row and I did not notice much change. I just wish they would invent Teleporters. 14k in ledges would be insane play.

Permit season for the wilderness (below Gleason flats) starts March 1 - one need only get a permit from the Apache tribe for the upper section. The next 2 weeks could be great water free for the taking - if you don't mind the wet weather. Another round is headed here mid-late week.
