Safety on Numbers

I am escorting (in Kayak) some friends who plan to row the numbers saturday (june 11th). One raft, one Dory. It would be great to have a couple more strong kayakeres along if anyone is interested.

We plan to meet at a camp spot near an old cabin which , I believe is a couple miles above Pine Creek rapid. probably meet around 10 and try to launch around 11 or so at the main #s put in which is below pine creek rapid.

Dave

Just an FYI, the camping regulations in that area have changed and all campsites are now required to have a goover. The rangers are super strict about this, I was up there a couple of weeks ago and had three separate rangers come by my site.

The dory is a plastic welded Bouler Boatworks boat. They are bomber. The boat will take it as long as my rower buddy is up for it.

Here's a picture of a fancy one
http://www.riverconnection.com/Merch...let_treatments

Regulations for containing human waste have changed and hence the fancy portable toilets. Many people use rocket boxes for the task. If you forget a toilet seat and use a rocket box then you get grooves in your butt. Or lose your groove.
