Safety course?

I'm wondering what safety course that I should take that will give me all the qualifications? please comment

Qualifications for what? Running whitewater, guiding rafts, expedtion boating, leading backpack trips, rock climbing, ski patrol, backcountry skiing.,..etc...?...

If it is kayak specific I completely agree with downstream edge, heard they might offer raft courses now too. Good situation analysis and hands on scenarios:

ACA (American Canoe Assn) and Rescue3 both give good classes which are very similar. The Rescue3 SWT certification carries more weight. If you want it to be recognized by the Park Service for example you need RQ3 cert. If you just want to learn and maybe have cert recognized by a rafting company ACA is really just as valuable.
