Sacramento / Northern California Beta

Hi Folks,
Anyone have some links to good beta web sites for rafting / kayaking in Sacramento / Northern California? … Like, the mountainbuzz equivalent that services that part of the country? I’ll be moving there for awhile and would like to start researching possible runs AND what size boat / kayak combination to bring with me for the time I’ll be there…
Appreciate any references.

Hey Al,
I just moved out near Sac for work for a couple of months. I haven't hit up any rivers yet but I did go get beat up in the ocean last weekend. The three forks of the American are close to Sac and I know at least the south fork can come up high due to rain. Let me know when you're going to be in town and maybe we can go run something.
